...has been practicing Internal Medicine in Wilmington, NC for thirty years. His major focus in medicine is well-being. He believes the most valuable thing for patient rajabhatcare is Physician Time. Therefore he believes in taking adequate time with each patient, and putting a great deal of thought and insight into the care provided.

He likes to focus on the entire person rather than just one aspect of care. He is careful to coordinate care with other providers, such as specialists. Medicine has become extremely complex so an Internist has to take numerous factors into consideration. Dr. Bhat likes to emphasize preventive care, and likes to spend time discussing things like diet, exercise, stress management and so on.

He treats acute and chronic illnesses, does annual physicals including electrocardiograms and lung function testing, Cardiac Stress Testing, Urinalysis, evaluation of blood results and many others. But most important of all, he listens!
